What is AwesomeDrive for Google Drive?

AwesomeDrive for Google Drive is a Chrome extension that makes working with Microsoft Office files in Google Drive seamless. With this extension, users can create new Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint files directly from the Google Drive NEW menu, without the need for manual downloads or uploads. The extension is compatible with Microsoft Office 2010, 2013 or 2016 on Windows and Microsoft Office 2011 or 2016 on macOS. In combination with the Universal File Opener extension, users can open any file type with local software and get rid of the 32MB file size limitation.
