It enables the video thumbnail to be displayed next to the channel icon on the YouTube video playback page. A simple click on the extension icon makes the thumbnail image appear, while hitting the image directly opens the largest thumbnail in a new tab.

youtubeのレイアウトが新しいものに変更されたのですが、新レイアウトの方でも機能します拡張機能のアイコンクリックでサムネイル画像をポップアップする機能がありますが、この機能で表示される画像は現在表示している動画のサムネイルではなく、「最後に開いた動画のサムネイル」のようですそのため複数の動画を同時に開くと最後に開いた動画サムネイルのみしかポップアップできないですねただしこれは2024/05/29時点の話ですので、今後変更される可能性もあります
