I wouldn't mind an option to just stop the thumbnail playing and I don't mean the inline nonsense that pops out, I mean the actual thumbnail from playing.

Greatly needed extension, I appreciate your efforts :-) As others have pointed out, would be useful to have video lengths still be shown. Btw, info for anyone for whom the extension isn't working: It clashes indeed with other youtube extensions. For me, I couldn't set this on at the same time as Unhooked.
